Project/Service Manager (Feb 1983-July 1986) Amerilink / Nacom Corp. After subcontracting for this company for a year I was given the opportunity to ‘go on the road’ and managed small projects, mostly storm damage and seasonal surges in activity. After about 6 months I was given the task of starting a project, of which I was the first technician, and quickly building a crew of 35 technicians which led to over 300 work orders per day. After 3 years I was sent to the Washington DC area to do it all over again. I was promoted to area manager after starting a project with $250,000 in annual sales and building to $1,000,000 annual sales in the first year. Continued to add contracts in the Washington DC area and establish our company as a major contributor to that area, building sales from $250,000 per year to $3,500,000 in less than 3 years. These sales were built on customer service excellence and an ability, not only to plan, but also execute.

Full financial, sales, and operational responsibility for an 18 state area with annual sales of over 20 million. 400 personnel servicing the telecommunication industry with construction, installation, networking, and service work.
