Responsible for managing the inventory of several national brand vendor partners within the dog and cat food categories. Ensure warehouse in-stock targets are met to maximize store service levels. Analyze JDA generated DC to vendor suggested order quantities to create purchase orders. Review and update 90 day receipt forecasts on a monthly basis. Validate and provide vendor partners with order forecast by item and warehouse. Collaborate with Category Managers and Demand Planners on promotional readiness and new item activations & item discontinuations. Acknowledge EDI purchase order confirmations.

Work in collaboration with Category Manager to develop and support inventory and sales plans. Ensure in-stock, inventory, and forecast accuracy & bias targets are achieved. Create and monitor base and promotional level item forecasts while providing insights into performance. Responsible for creating content and training peers on promotional and seasonal planning best practices. Experience in various business units including Heath & Wellness and Grocery.

Plan and estimate gross demand for media events. Review and define forecast parameters. Compose markdown and liquidation plans. Managed Footwear and Children's Wear categories.

Maintain target in-stock levels in store and in DC Analysis of flow product, purchase orders, sales in order to improve replenishment allocations Work with supply chain and system support teams to fulfill inventory requirements
 Develop strategies relating to flow of product Collaborate with vendors to ensure effective inventory flow management

Generate and follow-up on purchase orders Create initial and replenishment store allocations. Produce and review in-stock reports.
