After working for over 30 years in Senior Management and Director positions within South East Local Authorities, and the House Building Industry, I founded Foxbury Land and Planning Consultancy Limited in January 2020. This is a Consultancy, drawing upon a wealth of Strategic and Immediate Land and Planning experience - Appraising successfully identifying promoting and securing Planning Consents for major residential Strategic land, as well as more Immediate Residential, Retail, Commercial and mixed-use developments; Leading and Project Managing multidisciplinary teams of external Consultants, as well as being the key liaison person for Agents, Landowners, Council Planning Officers, and Ward Members; and Successfully negotiating S106 Legal Agreements, presenting at Member Briefings, Planning Committees and at Public Exhibitions; as well as instructing Leading Counsel, presenting at Public Inquiries, EiPs, and taking part in various Government, Policy, HBF, and Industry initiatives. More recently, advising and successfully identifying suitable opportunities for the Food Service Industry, Retail, Industrial and Electric Vehicle sectors throughout London and the South East. The above experience has enabled me to successfully lead the delivery of some high profile, consented developments. Key developments include: The complete regeneration of Newbury Racecourse; Major housing developments which have formed part of the South Wokingham SDL, and The South of the M4 SDL; The North Basingstoke Action Area; and Land to the West of Hemel Hempstead. In addition, and more recently, securing outline planning consent at Sandleford Park - Sandleford Park West, which completes this Strategic Housing Allocation in Newbury; Immediate and Longer Term new residential developments in Bedfordshire, Essex and Oxfordshire; identifying and securing new High Street and Drive Thru Fast Food stores, as well as Retail, Commercial developments, and EV sites throughout London and the South East. My professional qualifications include Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. I am also a qualified and Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, a service which I offer via Foxbury Mediation, which is part of Foxbury Lpc. I am also a member of the Civil Mediation Council.
