Giulia Mearini

I am a molecular biologist with 1 years of experience in AAV-mediated gene therapy for the heart. I acquired deep knowledge of every stage of preclinical GT development, from target identification to in vivo PoC in IND-enabling studies. I strongly believe that human in vitro models, such as iPSC-derived organoids, are key to accelerating discovery and development of new therapies. As a problem-solving team leader, I tackle challenges with precision and timely execution. Strong in connecting and coordinating diverse working groups, I have experience interfacing with CRO and CDMO. I recently earned the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute.
