I'm a Los Angeles-based photographer working across commercial lifestyle photography and contemporary fine art. My commercial work focuses on active lifestyle, wellness, tourism, and connection to nature. Clients include: Disney, Google, National Geographic Channel, Warner Brothers, Otis College of Design and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, as well as solo entrepreneurs and small businesses. My fine art practice centers on self-portraiture, exploring identity, longing, and life's journey. I've exhibited nationally at venues including the San Diego Art Institute, Center of Photographic Arts, Los Angeles Center of Photography, Robert Berman Gallery, and Griffin Museum, with features in Lenscratch, F-Stop Magazine, and Bokeh Bokeh. Honors include being a Photolucida Critical Mass Finalist and Emerging Focus Grand Prize Winner. My path to photography started in a childhood class in South Dakota—I was instantly hooked by the magic of the darkroom. After earning my BA from Montana State University's School of Film and Photography, I worked as a lighting technician and producer in Seattle before moving to Los Angeles for the sunshine and thriving creative community. With 15+ years of professional experience spanning production coordination, lighting design, and image-making, I bring technical expertise and a collaborative approach to every project. I'm also passionate about education, having served as a teaching assistant, guest lecturer, and curator, and I'm currently exploring new opportunities to share my knowledge with emerging photographers.
