Gina H.
Environmental Manager @ Coeur Mining, Inc.
About
I am the Environmental Manager of Coeur Rochester, Inc. with responsibilities of environmental permitting and compliance oversight at the Rochester and Packard silver and gold mine in Pershing County, Nevada. I have over 14 years of mining experience with Coeur Rochester as well as having a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource and Conservation Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. I am a certified Potable Water Treatment Operator in the State of Nevada and a certified visible emissions evaluator. I joined Coeur Rochester in early 2011 as an Environmental Coordinator and learned the basic foundations of environmental laws and regulations as well as performing field work around the mine site. I promoted into the Senior Environmental Coordinator role in 2015 and into my current role as Manager in late 2019. I have extensive knowledge in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) reporting, and State level permitting for mining operations. I am also knowledgeable in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements and Federal level permitting for mining operations. In my personal life, I enjoy camping, hunting, and fishing with her family.
