Provide administrative and logistical support for professional development courses, lunch and learns, and other special events available to faculty and staff as sponsored by the Workplace Learning and Development team; such responsibilities include: room scheduling, plans for catering, and participant material preparation. Serve as the first point of contact for faculty and staff inquiries regarding the Learning Management system and the Performance Management System (ASuccessfulU). Provide great customer service and prompt follow-up to concerns as needed. Responsible for the marketing and communication of professional development courses available through various channels, such as: calendar handouts, targeted email blasts, webpage updates, creation of e-flyers, Today @ AU postings, etc.

Respond via phone, email, and mail to an average of thirty member concerns a day, with thorough investigation of member databases. Provide prompt follow up to resolve member concerns. Manage lapsed donor correspondence in order to increase member retention: Contact 150+ donors per month to collect updated credit card information. Work within Excel and Word on mail merges using several customized letter templates and coordinate bulk mailings. Track these incoming and outgoing communications in order to gauge effectiveness of outreach methods and adjust efforts as needed. Coordinate with other Member Service Associates to discuss problems, identify trends, and share solutions so as to assist members more efficiently. Liaise with other development staff to provide support on projects such as webpage updates, mass donor communications (e-blasts, e-newsletters and tax letters), and fundraising campaign efforts.
