CGEA – Urban Planning & Design Intern Assisted with urban planning and design projects focused on community development, land use, and sustainable site planning. Supported the planning and execution of The Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation. Gained experience in systems thinking, policy awareness, and applied research addressing real-world challenges in the Texas Gulf region.

Public Policy Intern | Office of Mayor John Whitmire, City of Houston June 2025 – Present Working under Senior Advisor to the Mayor, Scout Odegaard As a Public Policy Intern in the Mayor’s Office, I assist with research, policy analysis, and community outreach initiatives to support informed decision-making and effective governance. My work involves drafting memos, attending meetings with city stakeholders, and contributing to programs aimed at addressing key issues in Houston. This role offers a hands-on view of how local government operates and provides meaningful opportunities to engage with the city’s diverse communities.

Fish Camp Counselor | Texas A&M University Camp Jennings, Session A – Blue | May 2025 – August 2025 Selected to serve as a Fish Camp Counselor for Camp Jennings, Session A – Blue, where I helped welcome and mentor incoming freshmen as they transitioned into life at Texas A&M. In this role, I led small group discussions, facilitated team-building activities, and worked to create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment rooted in Aggie spirit and tradition. Proud to play a part in shaping the Class of 2029’s first memories as Aggies!

Undergraduate Research Assistant | Geosciences Field Research, Mason Mountain – Texas A&M University May 2025 Worked under Dr. Mark Everett on a geology research project at Mason Mountain, focusing on radar imaging of rock fractures. Contributed to field data collection, ground-penetrating radar surveys, and analysis of subsurface geologic features. This hands-on experience enhanced my technical skills in geophysical imaging, deepened my understanding of structural geology, and strengthened my ability to work collaboratively in field research settings.

Member, Special Events Team | LEIAS (Leaders Excelling in Academics and Service) – Texas A&M University February 2025 – Present LEIAS is a women’s organization dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and connecting driven female students through academics, service, and sisterhood. As a member of the Special Events Team, I help plan and coordinate events that build community, celebrate our members, and promote personal and professional growth. Being part of LEIAS has strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my commitment to serving and supporting the women around me.

Fundraising Committee Member | FLiNT (Freshman Leaders in New Technology) – Texas A&M University August 2024 – May 2025 As a member of the Fundraising Committee in FLiNT, a freshman leadership organization focused on technology and service, I helped plan and execute fundraising initiatives to support our organization’s programming and community impact. Through this role, I gained experience in event planning, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, all while supporting causes that benefit both our members and the College Station community.

Initiated partnership with The Galveston Bay Estuary Program, towards educating my Aquatic Science class and Club. Additionally, obtained sponsorships for my National Art Honor Society. I have also led Environmental and Art workshops for Sugar Creek Montessori.
