Major Responsibilities: • Guide the development and implementation of the required processes and procedures that will enable to safeguard the Bank and its subsidiaries for illegal transactions. • Engagement with business by advising and guiding management and staff on regulatory and Compliance matters. • Review and assessment of Compliance risk using risk based matrices and report breaches • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of controls. • Keep abreast of global trends, international standards, Basel and SAMA requirements concerning the AML/CTF, Sanctions and Financial Crimes applies improvements on processes and procedures that will enhance the protection of the Bank against potential risks and improve its market reputation. • Develop and implementation of an Enterprise Fraud & Financial Risk Control Framework, Policies & Prevention Strategy . • As part of second line of defense governance and assurance activity Design, Plan and Execute Fraud Risk Assessments based on SAMA guidelines and banks internal policy to identify & categorize any inherent and potential fraud and financial crime risks across Banks business divisions, subsidiaries and overseas branches to implement mitigates and controls within mandated timelines to manage overall risk appetites. • Ensure the examination of the individuals and/or companies’ profile that participate in due diligence transactions, in order to confirm that their profile is proper for the Bank to cooperate with them. • Monitor the execution of awareness session schedule in order to enable the information of all employees regarding the indicators of illegal transactions and the process they should follow to protect the Bank from risks • Ensures all the rules and regulations are implemented. • Recommend the department’s budget by preparing analysis and data related to specific elements as directed. • Periodical monitoring of the financial performance of the department against budgets.

control and minimize expenses; report delinquency and charge off of all portfolios to Loan Committee and dept managers; identify trends and causes of delinquency and recommend action; participate in the development of collection policies and procedures; department staffing, training and employee reviews; lending authority to approve loan extensions and rewrites. • Report delinquency, charge off and collection activities to Loan Committee; review activities and solutions on a monthly basis with collectors; review reports to determine if there are any deficiencies; keep track of past due trends and charge off reports; look for ways to improve quality, performance; control costs and losses while maximizing recovery. • Trains and develops new and existing staff in collection techniques, including conducting the annual performance appraisal process to ensure service standards and performance are in accordance with department goals. • Ensuring that collection department is in compliance with all applicable laws, banking regulations and bank policy and procedures. As well as making sure departmental policy and procedures are updated. Ensure that reports are used within the department and that applicable reports make it to senior management on a timely basis. Ensure that the underlying data necessary for the reports are accurate and input on a timely basis. • Providing strong leadership and motivation to the collections team, ensuring collection practices, and productivity and quality standards are consistently achieved. This will involve analysis of collections processes, identifying potential improvements and continually evolving these processes to maximize collections success. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, discipline and general management of the collections team.
