Mid West Universities Consortium (MUCIA-USAID) Future Farmers of Egypt & Career Centers programs Manager My scope of work includes implementing the American Model of Futue Farmers of America after the adaptation to fit the Egyptian system & Culture. The program is aiming to enhance the Agricultural Technical students with the interpersonal skills required in the work field, as well as improvement of the educational conditions and commitment to improve the quality of life for the graduates and assisting them in finding good work opportunities in the Agri-business world.My job requires more being a trainer as well as management and planning tasks for the program. Tasks included: 1. Design and budget all the implemented activities in the programs as well as being in charge of implementing them,assigning the program teams with tasks included in the program. 2. Measure and evaluate all the activities and performed tasks related to the program. 3. Plan and design workshops related for the training on the program activities . 4. Trainer for communication skills included to develop the skills of the contributing ATSs’ teachers participating in the program activities. 5. Trainer for the sessions related to the program included in 19 successful workshops during the academic year 2011-2012 (participated in 3 workshops in cooperation with communication international experts e.g Dr.Kirk Hienze Director Emeritus –ANR communication Michigan state university) 6. Assist Graduates through Career Centers in finding a permenant job opportunity in the Agri field. 7. Organize producing the promotional material & publish an electronic monthly newsletter on the program activities. 8. Review and edit all the marketing material related to the program

• Potential communication with international entities (Embassies, international funds donors,MOU...etc.). • Follow up and adjustment of the designed teamwork plan. • Participate in designing the programs assigned to serve better the growers e.g. a project to produce different crops handbooks for the small growers to guide them for better Agricultural practices(green beans for export handbook) • Follow up and implementation of plans designed for developing the fresh graduates capacities in the agro sector through different training programs to prepare them to get in touch with the latest technologies applied at the producers farms • Participating in the performance appraisal of the staff and arranging the appraisal plan, interviews, final personal appraisal of all staff from seniors to newly hired staff. • Cooperating in the membership desk service (customer services office) in planning for the services that can be offered by the association and the best means to supply members with them thus marketing HEIA services among the members. • Preparing training programs for the staff international programs e.g. at UCDAVIS university in California, in addition to local training programs throughout the whole training phases till receiving the appraisal per person. Performed courses. • Organizing international observational trips e.g. ( South Africa observational trip for table grapes crop). • Preparing some articles in Heia quarterly published magazine\publications. Volunteer Activities Publications and information • Volunteer as a team member in designing and executing of Heia activities and services English and Arabic Brochure in addition to executing a booklet about export green beans production. •Preparing and supplying the material required for the English section for HEIA website in addition to supporting the designer company in selecting the most appropriate images and designs that can attract the website visitor (www.heiaegypt.com)
