Oversight for all transportation assets, technology, licensing/permits, vendor relations and contract negotiations with a corporate staff of 4 direct reports.

Directly supervised 20 locations with a total fleet size of ~8K trucks and ~25K trailers with an annual maintenance spend of +$60 million. Managed a corporate staff of 5 direct reports overseeing national and international maintenance operations and compliance for 600+ employees.

Lead 10 separate locations with a fleet size of 1750 trucks and 4700 trailers with annual maintenance spend of $23 million dollars. • Responsible for national and international maintenance support for a top 100 Carrier both in-sourced and out-sourced. • Manage a corporate staff of 10 direct reports that oversee maintenance operations. Major Projects • Developed and implemented new DOT compliant PM program. • Reduced CSA score from above to below threshold to 43%. • Down equipment dropped from over 238 to an average 170 allowing for over $14 million dollars in revenue opportunity. • Led in design of new $6 million dollar joint operations and maintenance facility. • Negotiated with OEM’s to increase warranty labor rate from $42 to $65 per hour. • Centralized parts purchasing, leading to reduced parts pricing and rebate programs. • Opened two new facilities without adding additional staffing. • Implemented a productivity program that went from 67% direct labor to 86%. • Lead way in reprogramming and re-design of chassis length and adding fuel efficient devices which has accounted for $12 million in fuel savings. • Saved over $4 million in capital expenses during equipment re-design process. • Reduced slow moving parts inventory by 11%. • Located all parts room parts to aide in increase of productivity. • Conducted Manager Leadership Training. • Developed and implemented new performance and quality evaluation process. • Redefined staffing requirements and authored job descriptions for all positions. • Created and authored Maintenance Newsletter.

Managed and advised on all Nationwide 3rd Party Grocery locations. (30+) Oversaw all Procedure and Process development as well as P&L diversification. • Responsible for Procedure and Process writing, development and posting for all Walmart Transportation Maintenance locations. (60+) • Advised other RMM’s on 3rd Party Grocery issues, needs and assisted or developed a solution. • Managed 5 Walmart ran Grocery locations. • Direct line between RMM’s and Sr. Director / Director on P&L discussions. • Assisted Sr. Director and Director in budget preparation for over 7,000 trucks and 60,000 trailers as well as capital expenditure planning for all locations. • Lead live and taped video training events for over 1200 maintenance associates. Major Projects • Wrote shop Audit process for both Walmart and 3rd Party locations, lead way to first time 100% completion was achieved. • Super user for SAP business solutions software integration. Performed instructional classed to entire Fleet Maintenance Team • Diversified Expenses and developed individual P&L accounts and lead staff meetings while developing standard maintenance accounting practices. • Authored new shop procedures and process. • Wrote battery charging procedure, cut battery usage in half saving $56 thousand dollars. • Implemented technician ASE certification program, led the only two locations in company that achieved “Blue Seal” certification status.
