The scope of managed work included PNNL’s computing and communications infrastructure, business information systems, cyber security, records management, and technical library services and exceeded $45 million annually (2013 dollars) and 215 staff. Under my leadership, PNNL was recognized as a CIO 100 award winner in 2008 and 2009 and was named to the InformationWeek 500 five consecutive years. In 2009, InformationWeek named me to its inaugural compilation of top CIOs in federal, state and local government: The Government CIO 50 and I was renamed to the list in its second edition released in 2011.
