Georgiy Larin

My previous professional background has been revolved around the steel industry in Russia. I primarily worked on finance, economics, and office management and last years - on IT-related projects and procurement. Additionally, I also gained the work experience in Turkey as a senior procurement manager. Throughout my career, I have successfully completed several noteworthy accomplishments. At Skolkovo, I am responsible for implementing digitalization projects, promoting successful digitalization cases through various media channels, presenting MMK at innovation forums and startup accelerators, and preparing technical assignments for IT systems' creation. At MMK, I managed to increase the number of reliable suppliers of various materials, such as coal concentrates, iron ore materials, non-ferrous metals, polymer paints, workwear, chemicals, and other nomenclature. Furthermore, I have been in charge of analytical reporting, and I have facilitated the transition to electronic document management, thus making the company's operations more efficient and cost-effective. In addition to my aforementioned accomplishments, I currently hold the position of Director of the Moscow representative office of MMK. This role has further strengthened my experience in administrative work, as I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the office's operations. Through this position, I have honed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
