I have been working at RSK Group plc as Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant from May 2013 to July 2014. Working in one of Europe's leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancies, I have the chance to collaborate with experts in the field and have worked in various projects. I am involved in project management, desk studies, site investigations and environmental assessments. I have had regular training provided by the company as part of continuous professional development.

Thesis “Desk study, invasive ground investigation and remediation of Velvitsi village's road and landslide report of Velvitsi village, Greece”. Undertook modules in Rock/Soil Mechanics , Rock/Soil engineering, Contaminated Land and Groundwater, Ground models, Ground Investigation techniques, Landslides and Slope Instability. Gained experience in ground investigation using invasive techniques, in-situ tests and geophysics. In Field reconnaissance and Geomorphological Mapping I studied large scale engineering geology projects in Frejus and Malpasset, France. Also did walk over surveys and had field work training in techniques such as geomorphological mapping, landslide mapping and terrain evaluation which also combined interpretation of remote sensing and aerial photography imager. Acquired laboratory experience in soil and rock testing and familiarised with lab reports. Participated in group projects, workshops, tutorials, weekly presentations and journal clubs.

Grade: "Very good" (6.63/10) Thesis : "Man-made morphological alterations, effects and results on the low watercourse of the river Alfeios, Peloponnesus, Greece." Grade : Excellent (10/10) My undergraduate studies offered me strong core knowledge in Geology. I excelled in Applied Geomorphology, Application of Informatics and Geology and Engineering Geology. I studied in depth Palaeontology, Seismology and Petrography of Metamorphic and Sedimentary Rocks. My research project was based in Greece where I performed a desk study investigation followed by intrusive ground investigation and remediation of an active landslide and a failed main road at Velvitsi, working with collaboration with the Geology Department of Patras University, Greece.
