Responsibility: Recruited to build and direct the company’s sourcing and supply chain division in an aggressive effort to improve margin, product quality, and uniqueness of product assortment. Positioned division to move 60% of total receipts in Private Label to direct import and create private label lines in all classifications. - Develop sourcing strategy and procedures for turnkey program including factory identification, selection criteria, and audit process. - Developed strategic long-range plan for creating an internal design team. Drove development of over SKUs seasonally, from concept through production. - Directing policy development for company’s quality management system including vendor compliance policy

Apparel Sourcing, Sampling, Production, Finance & Logistics

Responsibility: Manage development of new product lines, including design, sourcing, packaging, and positioning. Develop and introduce new lines in club wear market. Source and certify Asian suppliers and manufacturers; negotiate costing. Work with designer to acquire new fabrics for seasonal line. Maintain annual product development budget. Reported directly to the owner of the company. - Produce over 300 SKUs seasonally, from concept through production, for luxury, boutique specialty, and mass market price points. - Worked with designer in new fabric patterns for seasonal lines. Work directly with overseas printers and mills for fabric sampling, lab dips/approvals, and production. - Managed and guided in India a factory to establish ISO quality standards and optimize production process.
