As a technology consultant I will be working with clients to implement Manhattan Associate’s supply chain software.

For 12 hours a day I oversaw all operations of the Transportation Operations Team, acting as manager and coordinating all traffic coming in and out of the warehouse. I had 20 associates under me who I would direct on a day to day basis. I dispatched trailer pickups and deliveries for other sites, ensuring my distribution facility had all the resources needed to keep moving. MEM1 was the largest site in the Memphis node, and one of the largest sites in the entire Midwest region. I worked nightshift, which meant primarily that I was operating with no help from leadership. Often times if something went wrong I was the only one awake who could deal with the issue. From my leadership and decision making, our team recorded the highest output with the lowest turnover from the workforce. We maintained a culture of hard work, but employee needs always came first. I was the first manager to involve our department in the Associate Activity committee, allowing our team to make the warehouse a better more enjoyable place through hosting events and activities.

The Center for Executive Leadership is a local nonprofit that I work with to boost engagement through social media and email. This includes video production, original animations, writing scripts/ blogs etc.

During my time at P&S Logistics I got to work in many different areas throughout the Safety Department. I worked on drive-cams, assigning drivers to their correct trucks; in logs, making sure drivers hours of service were correct; and I also made a couple reports. I got experience using all sorts of software including: Omnitracs, Samsara, McLeod, Lytx, and Rair.

A painting company I started in the summer 2020. What started as random jobs during Covid became an established business. While I ran the company we made over $10,000 in profit each season. It gave me relevant experience in: 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, I hired multiple employees each summer; 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, not only did I find all of my clients but built good relationships with them for every job I did; 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠, this included planning jobs with materials needed/ rental equipment, building relationships with suppliers and local retailers, and effectively optimizing the painting process.
