Development & Planning: Working in development & planning department on various projects looking at development, restoration and planning opportunities within the city and surrounding suburbs to improve and regenerate student facilities and accommodation. My role included looking at trends and forecasts of student accommodation requirements and usage in various areas of the district to determine where accommodation is no longer required and where there is now a higher demand. I had to look at many factors such as student numbers change due to factors such as increasing student fees. Also looking at various other development opportunities for accommodation areas that is no longer required due to movement in educational facilities.
