Geoffrey Mouen, AIA, CNU-A, NCARB

Geoffrey Mouen, founder of Geoffrey Mouen Architects, LLC, established his firm in 1999 with a focus on Traditional Architecture, Town Planning and Urban Design. Renowned for his expertise, Geoffrey has served as Town Architect for Celebration, Golden Oak in Florida, and the Albany Resort in the Bahamas. His award-winning work has been featured in prestigious publications such as Period Homes, New Old House, Builder Magazine, Home Magazine, Traditional Building Magazine, and New Urban News. An educator and advocate, Geoffrey dedicated three years as an adjunct urban design professor at Rollins College. His commitment to promoting classical and traditional design is evident in his collaboration with organizations like ICA&A Florida Chapter, which he helped establish in 2006, as well as his contributions to the AIBD and CNU. Geoffrey has taught courses and spoken at national conferences, sharing his knowledge on architecture, town planning, and sustainable urbanism. His outstanding designs have garnered multiple accolades, including the Aurora Awards' Best in State, and the Best in American Living Award (BALA) for the Tradewinds Show Home in Baldwin Park, Florida, in 2008. Additionally, his work on the Enders Park Community Center in Baldwin Park earned him the National Palladio Award. Geoffrey is celebrated for his collaborative approach, working alongside other architects and designers to foster sustainable designs for people to live, work and thrive. As a member of Strong Towns and a board member of the Urban Guild, Geoffrey continues to influence the future of urban design and architecture through thoughtful planning and timeless principles.
