The MIMOSA (MultIspectral MObile tiSsue Assessment device) can photograph wounds with near-infrared light, just beyond the range of human vision. Taking these photographs using different “colors” of light, we can see key molecules that indicate tissue health. Using this non-invasive technology, we can predict when an ulcer might be forming before it is visible to the naked eye. With early detection, treatment is possible.
