Gene Daigle

As the ITS Director for Skyline, I am responsible for the functional feature set for our Variable Message Signs and EnvoyDMS, Skyline's central coontrol system. I am also responsible with liasing with current and future clients over these feature sets as well as integration with other ITS systems. Also, I am responsible for all software and firmware development activities for Skyline's EnvoyDMS, a DMS central control system, and Skyline's wide variety of Dynamic Message Signs. This includes defining feature sets from client input, national standards such as the MUTCD, NEMA TS-4 specifications, and the NTCIP communication standards as applied to DMS as well as their implementation in Skyline's software and firmware. I also work directly with state DOT personnel on integration and certification of both DMS and Central Control software into existing and new infrastructures. I am currently active and a voting member of the NTCIP DMS Committee.
