Previously I worked at the Church Langley dental practice acting as the assistant manager, I work along side my collage and practice manager helping with the daily running of the dental surgery. I undertook and completed a level 3 diploma in general management.

During my time at the surgery I completed the NEBDN dental nurses qualification in 2011. Subsequent to this qualification I studied with Steven Green and associates to gain the NEBDN in dental radiography in 2013. In 2016 I became the first aidder on the premises completing the AoFAQ level 2 emergancy first aid which is valid until 15/01/2019. My passion to learn started to direct me toward practice management and In order for me to progress in my profession I decided to complete a management course, I am currently undertaking a level 3 diploma in general management.

After working in practice for several years and progressing through the ranks by undertaking qualifications to ensure I was competent within my job roles I became interested in teaching and passing on the skills and knowledge that I had acquired over the years. From my time working in dental practices I had already been required to teach new staff and this was something I had always enjoyed and found naturally easy. When an opportunity became available to move in to assessing learners through a dental nursing qualification I know it was the career path I wanted to follow and I took the plunge to leaving the comfort of practice and take on a role that was new to me. I am a very organised person who is determined to ensure the learners sussessfuly achieve a qualification in dental nurses and work to a very high standard. My enthusiasm and passion for dental nursing makes my job as an assessor in this field enjoyable and enables my to pass this on through my assessing. I have great communication skills and have received positive feedback from the learners I have helped achieve so far.
