Gearoid Moran

As a patent attorney at FRKelly, I specialise in drafting and prosecuting patents relating to physics, software, electronics, and engineering inventions, as well as some chemical composition inventions. I have successfully represented clients before the European, UK, and Irish patent offices, managing international patent portfolios, and advising in other IP-related matters including due diligence. I hold a Master of Advanced Studies (MASt) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics from Queen Mary University of London. I also have certifications from the European Patent Office and Intellectual Property Office of Ireland.
