I lead MAX’s finance and fund-raising functions where I'm in charge of all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting and financial planning, accounting and reporting, treasury and cash management, fund-raising and access to finance, investment and capital allocation.

* Member of the executive team in charge of Strategy and Finance. * As CFO: * Core responsibilities include financial & management reporting, audit, planning, treasury, and capital structure * Optimise corporate portfolio management and capital allocation * Develop and implement a performance management framework * Provide business partnership services to all business units * Manage investor relations and provide timely, accurate and adequate information to external stakeholders * As Head of strategy: * Cover the successful formulation, implementation and execution of the group strategy * Ensure that all divisions develop and execute on their strategic plans * Ensure that details of the strategic plans are understood and implemented in every strata of the organisation and that actions and initiatives connect to corporate goals * Ensure decisions being made are aligned with the strategy and are creating the desired outcomes * Drive growth and decision making that sustains organizational change in response to a highly volatile and constantly evolving African TMT industry

Using our collective extensive network through Africa, SYNEKAS originates, analyzes and provides advice on investment opportunities to international investors primarily. On a selective basis, SYNEKAS will co-invest, alongside international investors for entry into new markets across the broader sub-Saharan Africa region whilst offering its services to the client. www.synekas.com
