George Buzzeo – Film Producer | Media & Live Event Executive George Buzzeo is an independent film producer and media executive with over four decades of experience spanning film production, live events, and broadcast technology. His career bridges creative storytelling and large-scale execution, giving him a rare perspective on both the artistic and business sides of production. George began his career in New York in 1980, working within the live event and video production industry, where he quickly established himself as a trusted technical leader. In 1987, he co-produced and directed the 90-minute instructional film “An Introduction to Special Effects Make-Up”, addressing an underserved educational market and achieving broad distribution through colleges and specialty publications…an early example of identifying niche audiences and scalable content. Throughout the 1990s and beyond, George expanded his role from technical execution into producing, packaging, and managing complex productions across corporate, theatrical, and independent film environments. He is the founder and president of GB Media Productions Inc., where he has built a long-standing reputation for reliability, professionalism, and delivering results under pressure. In recent years, George has focused on developing and packaging original film and media projects, including serving as Executive Producer on the docudrama Kim Kahana: The Man Who Changed Hollywood. He is currently advancing a slate of narrative and animated projects and actively exploring private investment partnerships to support development, packaging, and production. George’s work is driven by a balance of creative vision, disciplined execution, and a pragmatic understanding of risk—qualities that resonate with collaborators, investors, and audiences alike.
