Member Services Manager @ APSCo Southeast Asia
About
Across my career, one pattern has always been clear. Organisations succeed when their people strategy is clear, connected, and grounded in real-world insight. But many teams struggle with fragmented processes, siloed partnerships, and talent systems that don’t reflect today’s global market. My mission is to help organisations build stronger talent ecosystems - through strategic talent planning, community building, and people development. I work with institutions and employers to design programmes, partnerships, and processes that improve how they attract, develop, and engage talent across cultures and markets. With 20+ years of experience across Asia and four continents, I’ve led talent functions in higher education, global recruitment, and industry associations. Armed with an MBA in Global Talent Management, CIPD Chartered Membership, and fluency in Mandarin Chinese, I bring culturally informed, analytically grounded expertise to any organisation navigating talent challenges in Asia or globally. How do I help? I work with employers, employees, universities, and industry bodies to strengthen: Talent Strategy (Workforce planning, hiring frameworks, leadership capability, and long-term people systems) Community & Partnership Building (Employer networks, alumni engagement, regional partnerships, and cross-border collaborations) People Development & Capability Building (Training, workshops, employability programmes, manager enablement, and learning experiences) Talent Insights & Market Intelligence (Asia-focused labour market insights, talent mapping, and data-informed recommendations) Outside of work I'm a pug-lover, writer, and even at one point - an opera singer! If your organisation wants clearer direction, stronger connections, or better people outcomes - this is where I deliver my best work. If you’re looking to strengthen your talent strategy or build meaningful partnerships across Asia and beyond, let’s connect.

Associate Director, Talent Acquisition

At INSEAD I led a global Talent Acquisition team of 5 people across France and Singapore in the continuous task of finding the best talent to join our campuses in France, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and the USA. During this time I was responsible for all recruitment of administrative staff from junior level to C-Suite. • Hired and trained a new global team of Talent Acquisition Specialists. • Partnered with senior management on executive and C-suite roles as a personal executive head-hunter. Personally recruited for all departments including IT, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Administration. • Conceptualised and carried out the recruitment strategy for entirely new departments (Procurement, Masters in Management) and new locations (San Francisco). • Drastically reduced agency cost across INSEAD by approximately 400,000 euros. • Worked with HR Business Partners on new onboarding and employer branding projects; designed and led a “Ready to Recruit” training workshop to teach managers on interview technique and process. • Ultimately responsible for all permanent and temporary staff hires across all campuses and departments totalling approximately 300 vacancies per year from junior to C-Suite level. • Created KPIs, structure and targets to guide an entirely new global team.

Talent Acquisition Specialist
Singapore
For my first two years at INSEAD I was the school's first specialised Talent Acquisition Specialist working as their initial Centre of Expertise for recruitment at our Asia Campus in Singapore. During this time I also supported all recruitments on our France, Abu Dhabi and US campuses. At any one time I would be working on 15-20 positions globally and tasked with providing data insights on candidate profiles. I also delivered internal recruitment training to stakeholders and advised hiring strategy at approval level.

NES Global Talent is one of the world’s largest oil and gas recruitment consultancies. Based within the Singapore office, in this position I was responsible for all permanent placements within our energy and offshore clients as well as related engineering positions in other industries, especially construction. My client base was a mixture of existing key accounts that required service for Singapore, as well as companies generated through individual business development activity. Recruitment consultant for new Robert Walters division dealing with the recruitment of engineering and technical professionals within Singapore.
