In my free time, I love practicing yoga and sharing it with anyone who wants to learn! I received my 200-hour certification at the San Marcos School of Yoga and completed a specialization in Yoga4Cancer. Over the past 17 years, I've taught public classes at Washington Park Yoga, University at Albany, Vassar College, and Denton Yoga Center. I've led classes for my colleagues at professional conferences. Yoga is a way of being, moving, and breathing that reminds us that we are not just brains on a stick. I teach careful alignment and take my students on a journey that, if successful, leaves them with a deep sense of completeness and contentment that stays with them as they move on with their day. As an affiliate with the Women's Studies Department at the University at Albany (SUNY), I enjoy volunteering my time to share new developments on the intersections of science, medicine, and culture.

I recently joined EBSCO Health's DynaMed division, whose mission is to provide the most useful evidence-based information available to healthcare professionals at the point-of-care. For some background, DynaMed started in 1995. EBSCO Health, with vast experience providing medical reference materials and clinical decision support solutions to hospitals and healthcare organizations worldwide, acquired DynaMed in 2005. Today, the team includes medical writers and deputy editors across a range of specialties including oncology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, cardiology, internal medicine, neurology, critical care and many more. Responsibilities: - Critically appraise clinical research to evaluate methodology, data, and statistical analyses - Identify best available evidence for inclusion in DynaMed - Present and synthesize clinical data and medical information
