Gavin Fry
Associate Consultant @ Trinity Consultants
About
Gavin Michael Fry is a proud first-generation and low-income graduate of Dartmouth College in the Class of 2025. Gavin is a native of rural southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas. There, he learned the value of hard work, the importance of an education, and, above all, the wisdom to navigate uncharted waters. Gavin is a proud member of the first-generation, low-income community at Dartmouth College where he gained a deep appreciation for students from rural backgrounds, helping contribute to the rural student dialogue at the college. Gavin served as an admissions blogger for the "People, Places, and Pines" Dartmouth admissions team for the better part of three years. Gavin would often write about his experience as a first-generation, low-income student from a rural background. Gavin's academic passions have always revolved around meteorology, climate, and social science. Gavin volunteered with the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee where he developed these passions in high school. Since then, Gavin has gone on to be awarded the Truman Scholarship, Barry Goldwater Scholarship, and the Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship for a future career in weather, climate, and public service. Gavin graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in June 2025 with a B.A. in a custom major - climate system science. Currently, Gavin is an environmental consultant and air dispersion modeler with Trinity Consultants in Little Rock, Arkansas.
