As a part of 16 membered core team I have led a team of 900 volunteers to organize one of the India's largest cultural festivals. I played an instrumental role in planning professional shows by Sonu Nigam and Indian Ocean. Several new things were initiated like International Film Festival, Antaragni Leadership Initiative(National) and Classical Night. We successfully collaborated with VH1, The Hindu and Red FM to have the best media coverage for the festival. We collaborated with embassies of 7 countries to host performances by foreign artists.

My work in Reliance Capital was to build a detailed financial model for Reliance Capital based on functioning of other leading banks. I also developed a strategic road map for market entry of Reliance Capital into the commercial banking sector. Identification of potential benefits of conversion of any financial institution was a major part of my project.

As coordinator of the above mentioned above I led a team of 200 students to organize the biggest college music festival in India. We collaborated with 3 international embassies to invite various international performers for the festival. The event budget was up-scaled by 60%(INR 2.5 Million) and participation by 300%. The collaboration with media was unprecedented (10 media firms).

My internship consisted of 3 different small projects which comprized of analysis of Executive Compensation, Arbitrage Study and SWOT Analysys. The details can be found out in the attached report.

Over the course of my stay at IIT Kanpur, I have maintained a strong academic record along with being involved in extra-curricular activities. I have handled various diverse tasks ranging from corporate relations of Antaragni (IITK cultural festival) to performing over 40 live shows.
