My work at Institute for Protein Design focuses on: -computational design and development of peptide-based therapeutics and diagnostics. -designing peptides with enhanced permeability and oral bioavailibility -developing frameworks for structure-guided lead discovery of peptide-therapeutics -computational protein design and engineering

My postdoctoral research work is focused on following projects: -Developing a combinatorial and computational framework for novel prostate cancer therapies -Computer aided Drug design focused on designing small molecules and peptides targeting different cancer types. -Conducting Molecular docking and Dynamics studies to develop kinase and demethylase inhibitors -Design, Synthesis and Screening of novel Conotoxin Scaffold mimic libraries to develop ion channel inhibitors. -Predicting structure, function and evolution of proteins, and identifying potential target sites for therapeutic interventions.

-Development of novel algorithms for studying evolution and homology detection in highly divergent families -Studying the functional properties of calcium channels (TRPC3 and TRPC5) -Boolean Modeling of Phospholipase C mediated Calcium Signaling Networks -Collaborated to develop algorithms for structure and functional prediction of proteins.
