Gaston Farmer

The Land Trust for Tennessee is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, land conservation organization founded in 1999. Our offices are located in Nashville and Chattanooga. As a leader in conservation and an accredited member of the Land Trust Alliance, we work in communities across the state to protect private and public land that define the character of Tennessee, conserving places for the benefit for all. Based in Chattanooga, my focus is to work one-on-one with both private and public landowners and like-minded organizations to conserve and protect Tennessee’s natural character and open spaces.

As the Community Engagement Coordinator, my focus was to cultivate and maintain impactful relationships for all private and public visitors of LLLT Properties in addition to assisting with the planning, management, and execution of hosting public and private events, activities, and programs on LLLT Properties. These events, activities, and programs are designed for The Land Trust to foster stewardship and conservation ethics, build visibility, increase community and engagement and strengthen its financial resources.

-Represented 12 established brands in the outdoor industry -Created and maintained meaningful and impactful relationships with clients and accounts -Instructed staff training during product clinics for 25 national accounts, 25 specialty retailers -Established a curriculum and schedule to support technical training for clients and partners -Identified, prepared, and executed marketing strategies to engage new clients and support existing accounts

-Managed payroll, scheduling, and training for all employees -Delegated employees daily responsibilities through respectful and clear communications -Developed and maintained a healthy workplace environment for all staff and customers
