Led numerous multi-functional planning teams in the development of strategic plans to meet long-term organizational goals in several areas to include: emergency preparedness, continuity of operations, cyber security/response and workforce diversity. Lead designer and planner for the 2015 “VIGILANT GUARD Minnesota” exercise. VIGILANT GUARD Minnesota was a seven day national-level emergency response exercise with over 1,900 participants from local and State government agencies, the Army and Air Force, community-based volunteer organizations and private industry. Consulted with and assisted the Croatian Ministry of Defense in the development of plans, policies and training to provide military support to Croatia civil authorities in the event of a natural disaster.

Reduced the housing area’s annual operating costs by $2.2 million without a loss in service quality by identifying and eliminating excess capacity.

Identified, attracted, counseled and hired over 100 future officers for the United States Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. Collaborated and partnered with college admissions counselors at the University of Minnesota and eight affiliated colleges and universities. Grew the University of Minnesota’s ROTC program by 60% over a two and half year period while increasing quality and annual retention to greater than 90%.
