- Spearheaded the strategy, design, and implementation of a react web app with the purpose of powering the SaaS offering of a consumer social app that aggregate headless e commerce storefronts - Applied reactive programming through RxJS to parallelize requests, often to a common caching layer at the edge of the network, in order to improve latency - Developed a search and analytics engine on top of popular frameworks to help customers’ understand their products’ and posts’ impressions, providing transparency into their most desirable inventory - Utilized JWTs in order to create stateless, secure authentication - Utilized Akita in order to separate the storage layer from the view layer of the react app, ultimately providing a local database that could be cached in the browser and provided the optionality of an offline experience - Helped design the architecture of supplier and payment schemas in a globally distributed open-source SQL database, CockroachDB, that provides resiliency and strong consistency whilst maintaining low-latency for read-heavy
