DoW Area Frequency Coordinator, New Mexico (WSMR) NETCOM G3/5
The AFC-New Mexico Office has the responsibilities for managing frequency allocations, and authorizations, for requested frequencies by DoW customers operating spectrum-dependent systems, within the entire State of New Mexico, the State of Texas west of 104W, Western Colorado, and Eastern Utah between 108W and 111W. This region includes WSMR (Army), Fort Bliss (Army), Kirtland AFB (AF), Cannon AFB (AF), Holloman AFB (AF), as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, White Sands Detachment, and the New Mexico National Guard (NMNG).

Spectrum Operations
Perform all spectrum management and operations in support of the 46th Test Squadron (46 TS). The 46 TS conducts tests on many new systems that are part of command and control of each step in the kill chain to find, fix, target, track, engage and assess. The purpose of the 46th is to ensure all systems in the kill chain process work the way it should and when it doesn't the 46 TS uses its extensive lab to perform testing to resolve any issues. The squadron also has laboratory facilities built using actual aircraft systems, such as aircraft avionic components, displays systems, and controls to help reconstruct real world operations within the lab.
