Garry Edwards

Garry Edwards is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of AAM Investment Group (AAM), which was established in 2007. Garry is responsible for driving the overall direction and growth of the business by identifying key regions and investment opportunities where AAM can add value through its operational team. Garry has more than 25 years’ experience in developing and managing large-scale assets within Australia’s agribusiness sector. His extensive experience spans multiple agricultural and primary industry sectors and includes creating, designing, financing and delivering development projects. He is renowned within industry for implementing precision agriculture practices, investigating and implementing sustainability and innovation initiatives, and developing and operating integrated agricultural businesses. Garry’s guiding philosophy for the business is to improve assets within the AAM portfolio to ensure the land and infrastructure remain sustainable for the long-term. AAM’s agricultural investment portfolio that has expanded significantly over the past 5 years and is now valued at ~$1 billion. Garry and his family remain AAM’s major shareholders. In 2024, Garry was elected Chair of Cattle Australia, the national industry representative body for the grass-fed beef cattle industry representing 52,000 levy payers in a $30 billion industry, following an initial year as a Board Director and Vice Chair.
