• Managed two junior scientists and acted as the biology lead on several novel target drug discovery programs • Coordinated efforts from functional leads from genomics, structural biology, computational biology, and chemistry for novel target identification, validation, druggability assessment, and target nomination • Independently performed target ID, generated target proposals, performed MOA studies, and nominated targets to the portfolio • Designed in vitro/in vivo target validation and KO rescue studies to identify strategies for inhibiting target function • Established screening funnels for hit ID and functional characterization to support SAR • Implemented cellular target engagement, PD, and functional assays using CETSA, NanoBRET, high content imaging, Luciferase, RT-qPCR, CTG, Incucyte, as well as biochemical and biophysical assays such as EMSA, alphaLISA, and TR-FRET • Transferred optimized assays to CRO partners and managed CRO teams to support compound screening • Engineered numerous novel reporter cell lines using CRISPR/CAS9 and lentiviral vectors for cell-based assays • Utilized ChIPseq, RNAseq, ATACseq, and whole genome sequencing for PD marker discovery and the characterization of resistance to targeted therapies • Organized program and core team meetings and presented findings to founders and executive committees

• Developed cell free and cell-based target engagement and PD assays such as ELISA, Flow cytometry, RT-qPCR and Luciferase assays to support drug discovery • Established in vivo tumor models and performed PK & efficacy studies to evaluate monoclonal and bispecific antibodies • Spearheaded the use of single cell RNAseq to study the tumor microenvironment and explore how tumor and immune cells respond to immunotherapies • Worked as a project leader to evaluate novel CRISPR associated proteins for the engineering of primary immune cells resulting in the submission of a patent application
