The current role handling Sustainability, Environment Health and safety activities. Proactive analysis of workplace through HIRA interns of safety and Aspect & Impact interns of Environment perspective. Report on potential hazards in the workplace and aim to make improvement. Responsible for coordinating and directing Environment Health and Safety initiatives at the facility to assure compliance with local and State Govt. Implementation of ISO14001:2014, ISO 45001:2018, and coordinating for Internal, corporate audits and certification audits. Sustainability and ESG Reporting – as per OEM’s requirements. Green House Gas emission verification and validation – Assurance certificate audit as per ISO 14064-3 Handling of all legal requirements from KFR, KSPCB, EPR, PESO, Fire department etc., Working to wards Climate change strategies on Co2 emission reduction projects. Working towards on Sustainability frame work on UN standard, GRI, CDP. Conducting periodical Safety Committee Meetings and Mock drills. Accident investigation and identification of root cause for accidents and prevention of accidents. Handling operation of ETP&STP and Occupational Health center. Executing rainwater harvesting project – Design and implementation. Monitoring permit to work system (PTW) and Development of Online work permit system. Implementation of Ergonomics standard. Machine safety assessment from the design stage. - CMSE Certified from TUV Nord. Conducting all EHS related training program.

The role involves all the functions of safety From Raw materials to Finished goods. Work related and non-work related cases and follow-up and to provide information of status of injured personnel •Report on potential hazards in the work place, and aim to make improvement. •Ensure that all employees are competent in their assigned position. •Responsible for coordinating and directing Environment Health and Safety initiatives at the facility to assure compliance with local and State Govt. •Implementation of ISO14001:2014, ISO 45001:2018 and coordinating for corporate audits and certification audits. •Identifying existing and predictable hazards or working conditions that are hazardous, insanitary, or dangerous to employees and take measures to eliminate or control the hazards. •Conducting periodical Safety Committee Meetings. •Conducting internal audits with respect to Environment Health and Safety. •Identification of unsafe conditions and unsafe acts. •Conducting Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, Aspect & Impact chart. •Accident investigation and identification of root cause for accidents and prevention of accidents •Working on Environment related aspects like consents approvals, monthly & yearly record submissions, Document maintenance. •Working on Environment related consents and consent renewal. •Handling operation of ETP & STP and Occupational Health center. •Executing rainwater harvesting project – Design and implementation. •Implementation of Ergonomics standard •Monitoring LOTO procedures and Machine Guarding •Safety Orientations programs for newly joined employees •Coordinating with competent persons for inspection of lifting tools and tackles. •Developing awareness of safety within the employees. •Fire extinguisher training and Mock drills. •Safety in construction site and work permit monitoring. •Annual budgeting on investment and Expenses related to EHS •Coordination with cross functional department to complete the task and projects.
