Providing concept design options and presenting with decision maker to shortlist for further RPT development, post finalisation we are developing pilot tool for pilot trial and checking practical feasibility and checking and testing as per project requirement. Post successful evaluation we are developing multicavities tool as per qty. requirement. We are validating the component, mould and machine for long term continuity of production. Coordination with brand, marketing, R&D team, Operation team and supply chain and vendors are the key points to achieve the common goal.

Developing Rigid and flexible packaging from concept design to production. Developing and finalising specification and evaluating costing of the packaging. Understanding projects to launch with in timeline, so we are planning accordingly with cross functional team. In flexible packaging we are dealing with all supplier and co ordinating for printing, proofing and validating the pack for the product. We are maintaining shade card for quality control of printing quality as well as we are maintining spec as well as implemented quality checking procedure for incoming lot.

-Developing strategy for the packaging innovation, included design, mock-up development, pilot development, and commercialization and implementing in the organization to meet the common goal. -Providing necessary inputs to Marketing, Production, and Quality during the developments of Components -Managing the workflow of engineers within the scope of assigned projects. -Developing & finalizing specifications with respect to product & marketing requirement -Develop and enhance packaging design, optimization, and validation capability for driving packaging innovation efficiently. -Identify and develop innovative packaging technologies and design, which will improve the consumer & customer satisfaction. -Participating in New Product Development from concept to launch; with specific responsibilities that include packaging design, functionality, appearance and operational capability. -Implement Value Engineering initiatives to achieve standardization and reduce costs. -Capitalizes experience on the development through lessons learnt process & design rules

Mainly dealing with rigid Packaging products. -Developing new packaging products in response to given briefs. -Carried out numerous experiments in the development of new products, troubleshooting and improvising existing products. -Supervised development work in the manufacturing of Rigid packaging products. -Assisted in quality control to resolve packaging issues in the manufacturing plant. -Coordinating the entire rigid product Design development from Conceptualization to Trial production. (Product Design, Review Analysis, Feasibility, Production Process, Prototype, Tool Development and Trial Production), Results oriented with a hands-on approach, in a cross functional, team based environment. Customer oriented with a proactive approach to solving problems. -Validate Design of the rigid packaging. -Presenting the rendered product design for the approval from brand. -Developing rapid prototype to checking and testing the feasibility, also confirming aesthetic look. -Approving quality assurance, supplier & the manufacturing site for future references. -Taking trial of the moulds on based of final production feasibility and functionality. -Solving the problem by coordinating and giving technical solution at supplier ends. -Exploring root cause for failure of packaging products.

Understanding customer’s requirement from marketing department Product designing for BM, IM, IBM, ISBM as per customer’s requirement in view of lower weight, decoration friendly, max cavity’s to be accommodated in available machine’s etc with working on Solid works, AutoCAD, and Corel Draw. On approval of design, initiate engineering drawing ( 2D & 3D data) in view of molding friendly like simple ejection, easy filling of components (Wall thickness variation, gate positioning), avoid shrink mark, etc. Making proto type and after that making proto mould for line trial and to check the physibility of the product. After the approval of sample going for multicavity mould. Taking a trial in plant and prepare a mold commission certificate covering details like Barrel heating, Die cup heating, Lip cutter, mold closing, mold opening, blowing, cycle time, ejection time, nozzle heating, injection time etc and hand over the mold for commercial production at Plant. Production starts after the final approval and order quantity.
