I construct & oversee $100,000 budget to align with projected attendance & ticket sale outcomes while simultaneously securing sponsorships from corporate sponsors, Yale departments, & professional schools. With the marketing committee, I develop & execute marketing strategies, resulting in outreach to 150 new colleges, wider national awareness of the conference, & a more geographically diverse attendee base. Having a conference theme centered around "Mobilizing with Care in the Black Community," this year, my board and I secured Minnijean Brown-Trickey, former member of the Little Rock Nine, as our keynote speaker, and Grammy award nominated rap artist Kaliii as our concert performer.
