* Compiled public health research and drafted report for Federal Transit Agency toolkit on transit oriented development and station-area plans recognizing healthy planning. * Assisted planners with providing clients (city and county governments) with code language incorporating public health into specific plans.

* Communicated with staff departments regarding sustainability programs and long range planning. * Wrote Climate Action Plan draft document. * Composed staff “Green Update” for city council and “Green Toolkit” for San Leandro businesses. * Co-convened and coordinated the Alameda County & City Climate Action Forum. * Coordinated green building forums for both San Leandro community and developers.

I have designed a plan for the refurbishment of an old warehouse in West Oakland, using green-building standards.This would function as an industrial park with companies that focus on environmentally friendly business practices (non-polluting industries). We are creating a workspace that celebrates an efficient use of resources and alternative energy. It is our intention to bring green and green-collar jobs to this part of Oakland and continue the rich industrial history of this West Oakland neighborhood. My team and I are in the funding phase. We look forward to networking with green businesses to solicit their interest in locating at the warehouse.

* Collected data, provided recommendations, and compiled community jobs report to support the creation of the West Oakland Jobs Resource Center for Oakland Army Base project. * Interviewed community leaders, business representatives, and construction trade union workers. * Conducted focus groups with community groups representing the unemployed population of Oakland on barriers to obtaining and retaining work.

My clients and I bring order to their space through organization and discarding unnecessary belongings while being environmentally friendly. With my nonjudgmental assistance, we create spaces that better serve their goals and a clear state of mind. I bring my intuition and artistic sense to my work.
