Gabriella Childers
Photography Director @ Strike Magazine
About
I'm a third year at the University of Florida double majoring in Interior Design and Economics. With a strong foundation in human-centered design, I'm passionate about creating spaces that are both functional and emotionally impactful. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I’ve developed a deep interest in the intersection of interior design, photography, and fashion and how these creative disciplines influence each other in the built environment.Outside of the classroom, I run my own photography business where I specialize in portraits and events, including graduations and weddings. This hands-on experience behind the lens has sharpened my eye for composition, color, lighting, and storytelling, all of which directly inform my approach to design.I’m always looking for opportunities to collaborate and grow as a designer, and I’m especially interested in how visual storytelling and spatial design can come together in innovative, people-focused ways.

My work spans a wide range of sessions, including graduation portraits, weddings, engagements, lifestyle shoots, and other personal or professional milestones. With a focus on making clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, I aim to create timeless images that reflect their personality and story. Event Assistant and Photographer
Miami, Florida, United States
At Integrity Multisport, I play a key role in the execution of large-scale triathlon events by managing essential operations both before and during race day. I handle high volumes of participants, providing efficient and friendly customer service under pressure. My responsibilities include overseeing race packet pickup, organizing and directing volunteers, and ensuring a smooth and timely check-in process for athletes. On race day, I assist in a wide range of fast-paced tasks—from managing volunteer teams at various stations to addressing participant needs and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires constant multitasking, quick decision-making, and strong communication to help ensure each event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Design Intern
As an Interior Design Intern at Saxon Architects, I focused on researching how thoughtful design can better serve the needs of people in real-world spaces. My role involved exploring innovative approaches to overcome common and complex design challenges across various project types. I collaborated with the team to develop human-centered solutions, ensuring that our design concepts aligned with both functionality and aesthetic value. This experience deepened my understanding of how design decisions impact usability, accessibility, and the overall user experience.
