Freelanced for more than 20 clients as a fractional engineer on all levels from Mid, Senior, Staff to Tech Lead.

HungerStation is a food delivery app. The company had 50k+ team members while I was in constant communication with around 10 people, most common being the Product Owner, Designer, iOS engineer and 2 backend engineers. I was in charge of developing a self-contained Flutter feature for robotic delivery from scratch with cross-functional team. The goal was to have minimum impact on the rest of the code while following the Dart and Flutter best practices and team's cookbook. The delivery was successful with all the required features done. I achieved this with TDD which gave me much more confidence in handing over the code to maintainers afterwards. And I got the biggest compliment an engineer can get from a fellow engineer - that I have a very neatly organized and functioning code.

I was in charge of updating features in the Daily Fantasy part of the Yahoo Fantasy & Daily Spots app while also updating the code from Java to Kotlin and from a variety of architectural patterns to MVVM with RxJava. Also, I built guides for the refactoring for other developers to follow while managing my own tasks according to the product directions Helped update different developer guides, JIRA ticket templates, helped in optimizing processes inside the team The project management was setup as Agile Kanban with daily SCRUM meetings - Scrumban Technologies used: Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger, JIRA, Screwdriver, code with different architectures MVVM, MVP & MVC

Developed 2 premium video content streaming apps HBO GO & HBO GO Lite with millions of users and the library for them. The team was full of awesome and skilled people. Proactively made improvement suggestions from which 90% were adopted. We had UI issues on a weekly basis, I suggested and fixed those issues by making more robust code. Learned about VIPER, architecture variation of MVP, with Mockito and PowerMockito tests. None of us 3 had any “main” part on which we work on but, whatever comes as an issue assigned to me, I do it. I was a co-founder in this startup. The goal was to make a super easy-to-use app for people who want to order a taxi in Zagreb. Basically, Uber for taxi companies. I was responsible for the full development from the beginning to the end and beyond. I did the architecture, documentation, full development, partial design, testing, publishing, and promotion. This was my first published application and the technologies used include Android.
