I’m Gabe Salazar, and my journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced homelessness, hopelessness, and the tough grip of gang influence. But I refused to let those challenges define me. Against all odds, I became the first in my family to attend college and graduate. Now, I travel the world, speaking to teens about how they can overcome their own obstacles and make smarter choices. My message is simple but powerful: No one is born by accident. We all have a purpose. And I’m here to help you discover yours, to show you how to dream BIG, and how to build a life that’s meaningful and full of potential. Every year, I speak at over 200 events, reaching more than a million students. I’ve been recognized as America’s #1 Latino Youth Speaker because I understand the struggles teens face, and I connect with them on a level that’s real, honest, and authentic. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my insights on national platforms, like the CW National Morning Show The Morning Dose, where I’ve discussed critical issues like the secrets teens keep from their parents—dating, bullying, drugs, and the dangers of social media. It’s not just about speaking up—it’s about starting conversations that can truly make a difference. In 2023, I received a Gold People’s Telly Award and a Silver Telly in the television category for my role in Kids Beach Club, a series dedicated to teaching preteens about character and living out their faith. I’m here to remind you that no matter what you’re facing, you have the power to change your story. So, let’s dream big together.
