As a Wake County Sheriff Deputy, I have not only investigated robberies, assaults, incidents of domestic violence, burglaries, breaking and entering’s, served warrants, and investigated traffic related matters. During my service to Wake County I have also assisted: the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations with the apprehension of felonious criminals; the U.S. Marshall Task Force with capturing dangerous fugitives; the US Secret Service with the investigation of persons who have committed criminal acts; and the DEA with major heroin drug busts. I have been involved in the apprehension of bank robbery suspects, chased vicious assailants through treacherous wooded terrain, and rescued people from trapped motor vehicles. While in the course of my duties I have been involved in two officer related shootings that resulted in the neutralization of two violent individuals. I have also provided court room security for District and Superior Court Judges, Wake County D.A.’s, prisoners, witnesses, and defendants while they engaged in judicial proceedings at the Wake County Court House.

Supervises, instructs and serves as the senior enlisted member for Operational activities. Trains and maintains proficiency in all major duties associated with all Soldiers under my Command . Performs administrative, operational and training duties during tasks organization of the mission preparation (isolation) and during operations.

I am currently the HHD 1st Sergeant with the 170th MP BN in Decatur, Georgia. My responsibility is to help the young men and women who are under my Command become better Soldiers. Improving their functionality and capabilities as Leaders and Trendsetters who improve themselves and their communities. While serving in the Greatest Fighting Force in the World.

As the S3 Operations Sergeant I maintain statistics of the unit’s capabilities and performance. My duties and responsibilities consists of assigning, attaching and detaching teams and units. I document the force and make recommendations regarding organization and equipment. I recommend the establishment of equipment for the Battalion. I ensure the Military Police Companies have adequate members, and I organize the Command Unit’s records.

HORIZONTAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER SUPERVISOR As a Horizontal construction engineer I used bulldozers, cranes, graders and other heavy equipment to move tons of earth and material to complete construction projects for the Army. I was also responsible for operating tractors with dozer attachments, scoop loaders, backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, motorized graders and scrapers. Analyze information on grade stakes and their placement Drive bulldozers, road graders and other heavy equipment to level earth Clear, grub, strip, excavate, backfill, stockpile and push scraper with tractor crawler Cut and spread fill material with scraper Transport heavy construction equipment with tractor-trailer Assist in performance of combat engineer missions. I also trained my Soldiers on these various pieces of Heavy Equipment on a variety of engineering platforms.

As a member of The Security Force Assistance Brigades (SFAB) we are specialized Army Unit with the core mission to conduct training, advising, assisting, enabling and accompanying operations with allied and partner nations. Soldiers in SFABs are highly trained, and among the top tactical leaders in the Army. Their work will strengthen our allies and partners while supporting this Nations security objectives and the combatant commanders' warfighting needs.
