The Scottish company Innovate Foods has been part of the Frostkrone Food Group from 07 February 2020. This group of companies with its headquarters in Rietberg, Germany is thus once again expanding its international presence on the food market. The location of Kirkcaldy in Scotland is where Innovate Foods produce deep-frozen finger food and snacks for the wholesale trade, for retailers and for the food service sector, with all production taking place in their state-of-the-art facilities there. The company, based in Scotland, was founded by Tony Dumbreck and is still being run by him today. Innovate Foods Ltd is one of the leading producers of finger food in Great Britain.

As of now, the US American company Rite Stuff Foods Inc. is part of the Frostkrone Group. Based in Jerome, Idaho, the manufacturer is specialised in the production of potato snacks. Due to the acquisition, the Frostkrone Group is once again expanding its product offering and developing further its transatlantic trade relations. Manufacturer of potato specialty products in the United States, Rite Stuff Foods, Inc. is offering a steadily increasing selection of delicious potato snacks and side dishes. Founded in 1989, the company currently employs a staff of about 230 and is headquartered in Jerome, Idaho. Customers include the food retail trade, the food service sector and various restaurants. Rite Stuff Foods, Inc. utilises only Idaho® potatoes in its production. The company is USDA inspected and SQF certified.

The French company Varenne Gastronomie becomes part of the Frostkrone Food Group. Thus, the group of companies adds exquisite finger food to its product range and continues to expand its international presence - following the acquisition of snack manufacturer Piz'wich in April this year. "So we are strengthening our position in the market and pursuing our growth targets in a stringent and future-oriented manner," explains Frédéric Dervieux, CEO of Frostkrone Food Group. Already back in 1998, Varenne Gastronomie already specialised in creating and manufacturing of fine finger food from high-quality, natural, untreated ingredients; ideal to accompany an aperitif or cocktail as well as served as small appetiser. The product developers rely on natural, selected raw materials and spices from all over the world to develop special experiences of indulgence. Thanks to continuous development, the company is also proficient in the manufacture of creations from rice leaves and real brick dough in large quantities.

Piz'Wich, based in the French city of Bulgnéville, was founded in 2001 and has been able to develop successfully ever since. Led by Stéphane Delahaye, the company focused on the manufacturing of deep-frozen snacks. The specialist for pizza sandwich pockets has, among others, developed the innovative product "Pizza Pocket". The handy pocket snack products are available, for example, in the popular varieties "Mozzarella Pesto", "Tarte Flambée (Alsace pizza)", "Chili Con Carne" and "Salami". Piz'Wich attaches great importance to quality and traceability of the ingredients. All products meet the strict requirements for certification and control.
