Working as Program/Project Manager for new Vehicle Launches and responsible for forecasting, managing and allocating available resources across the key areas for successful implementation of all new Projects and Facelifts in existing vehicles. • Represent GPSC (Global Purchase & Supply Chain) to all cross functional teams and taking decision. Single point of contact for coordination between purchasing and other departments like Finance, Engineering and Marketing. • To help management in preparing business case for new projects, by providing Cost Vs Time estimates of new parts. • Techno-commercial evaluation of Supplier’s offer and awarding business to most competitive suppliers. • Assures that each Systems Development Team has received all engineering drawings/specifications and CAD Data well in time to start the development of tools. • To issue cost and time targets to the Development teams and to work in close coordination with them to resolve major product development related issues • Presenting project status to the management periodically and to report for any delays/Pull Ahead in the project. • To ensure 100% on time delivery of parts for various Manufacturing Builds • Cross Car & Cross Country Comparison of sourced parts to help buyers to meet annual cost down targets. • Work on special cost reduction projects including localization and value engineering of components.
