Managing the design and construction of the complex centre-piece of the Darwin Centre Phase 2 project. Adoption of 3D modelling (Rhino 3D) to support design development and construction planning. Responsible for the co-ordination of supply chain and on site activities. Managing sub-contractors in use of model for construction. For rc frame and sprayed concrete contractors, work has included the extraction of co-ordinates, analysis of interfaces and use of model as communication tool to the wider team. For the polished plaster contractor, took a central role working closely with CF Moller Architects and Arup to conclude the complex design into a model that was construction ready.
