Fiber Splicing Responsibilities Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables. Test and verify signal quality using OTDRs and power meters. Install and manage splice enclosures and protect spliced cables. Troubleshoot and repair faults in fiber connections. Networking Responsibilities Install and configure routers, switches, and network systems (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi). Perform routine testing and maintenance of network infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues or hardware malfunctions. Cable Installation and Management Install fiber optic cables (underground, overhead, or indoors). Set up structured cabling (Ethernet, Cat5e, Cat6) following industry standards. Ensure proper labeling and cable management. Documentation and Reporting Maintain records of installations, splices, and testing results. Update network diagrams and fiber maps. Client Interaction Conduct site surveys and recommend solutions for connectivity needs. Provide technical support and training to clients. Equipment and Tools Calibrate and maintain splicing tools, OTDRs, and other equipment. Ensure tools are operational and secure.

Big Data projects

With help from my supervisor I created basic ETL that ingested transactional and event data to a locally hosted server saving 20 hours manual work. Worked with my supervisor to understand business needs and to translate those needs into actionable reports in Power BI,saving 20 hours of manual work. Used spark in python to distribute data processing on large streaming dataset improving ingestion speed, thus leading to increase in business processes. Used python to clean and maintain large data sets for processing, availing error free data at any time. Maintained data center servers and network by troubleshooting any arising issue. Provided data to Surface and Underground water engineers during investigation of provided site by the customer. Helped water engineers draft case studies and site report providing detailed recommendation of site. Acted as helpdesk customer care assistant, ensuring that customer are given topnotch services.

● Maintained and repaired ICT hardwares such as laptops,UPS,desktops and printers two days per week. ● Maintained helpdesk, by offering support to end users through virtual assistant system, phone call and availing myself to end users. Using helpdesk system i was able to create and provide monthly report updates to the manager. ● Facilitated in designing of TNH website using word press framework in two weeks in collaboration with marketing department. ● Performed administrative tasks such as adding new end users to domain and assigning them PCs for at least one day in month. ● Troubleshooted network, patched cables, reconfigured switches and routers and installed new network endpoints. ● Scanned network and prepared accessibility report for all hosted end points using angry ip ,a process that would take 2 days . ● Was involved in a feasibility study for a QMS project which was outsourced to software vendors, a process that took two weeks doing ICT infrastructure survey. My key role was to run data oriented simulation that gave positive feasibility of the system. ● Patrolled to the ICUs and Nursery facilities at least twice in a day to ensure that there was no ICT related issues.
