Manager of the innovation, research, and development project entitled "Development and certification of a 4.2 MW direct-coupled wind turbine, with permanent magnet synchronous generator and full power converter", the largest R&D project (in budget and scope) of the history of ENGIE in the Brazilian Electric Sector, in a partnership of ENGIE Brasil Energia with WEG and CELESC: • Responsible for all stages of development and implementation of the "Tubarão 2" Wind Power Plant: engineering design, environmental licensing, aeronautical licensing (COMAER), regulatory agency (ANEEL) authorization, access authorization of the grid operator (ONS), transmission contracts (CUST and CCT), modeling of the plant at the clearing house (CCEE), homologation and approval of the Billing Measurement System, test operation, commercial operation, type certification and power curve certification of the first Brazilian wind turbine, wind turbine low voltage ride-through test specification and contracting, yaw and pitch measurement calibration, absolute pitch measurement, wind turbine energy performance measurement. • Investigation of technological innovations for wind turbines and reliability improvement. • Detailed survey of wind resources and wind turbine performance to enhance the wind turbine performance.

Manager of the innovation, research, and development project entitled "Development of electrical energy generation forecasting technologies for wind farms in operation", in a partnership of ENGIE Brasil Energia with the Physics and the Mechanical Engineering departments of Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), and the Meteorology department of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC): • Wind forecasting and electric power generation software with horizons of up to 72 hours for two wind farms. • Analysis of the influence of wake effects and atmospheric stability on power generation. • Specification, acquisition, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the first laser wind profiler (LiDAR) in Brazil, two meteorological masts and a mini wind turbine (2.1kW).
