Custom imaging of Mementos and Art. Graphic Repairs and High Definition Printing on a wide bed printer with 11 color pallet. Custom printer for studio photographers. Every photographer's finished work is unique to them; tone, mounting board, protective covers/bags, etc. I work with the photographer to precisely reproduce the look of their current finished work. I started my business to image Art and Mementos. To copy and document the Arts condition. I use an 80 megapixel medium format camera (645 DF). This camera can copy the fuzz off the canvas, record the cracks and blemishes, and identify any flaws with the piece, i.e. delamination's. Most scanning uses a line camera with harsh bright lights. My process uses a studio with softbox lighting that won’t harm delicate pigments of art. Since this is photography not scanning, my camera catches the subtle shadows as the light falls across the arts brush strokes or other three dimension elements. This process is perfect when a customer has a memento or artwork that needs correcting without touching the original, e.g. a family heirloom water color. I can image the piece, correct the challenges using CS6 Photoshop and print the finished image on exhibition grade canvas using my in-house printer. The Epson Stylus Pro 9900 is a 44" wide High Definition printer that can print on a variety of substrates, e.g. Watercolor paper, Photo paper, and Exhibition grade art canvas. This printer uses an 11 color pallet, printing at 1440 dpi (dots per inch). Since the printer and camera are both pantone certified, they work together to precisely reproduce your art or what was in your “minds eye.” *Not to reproduce just to document condition.

A Technical Generalist I specialized in Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, and Project Analysis. I use four Areas of Concern I have developed to determine a Projects health, not just it progress along a time line. This allows management to see challenges facing their projects before they become an issue without disrupting the project Teams progress. While working in Iraq (2003-2005) as the Quality Assurance Coordinator for all captured documents being translated, I was injured. Six surgeries and Thirteen (+) years of recovery, I was trying to rejoin the work force. During recovery, I advised Northrup Grumman, who was developing a bid for the Foreign Media Analysis Center at Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, NE.

The largest Document Exploitation effort since the Nuremburg Trails following WWII. Due to my demonstrated abilities I was detailed to other organizations/activities. (GS-15 Equivalent) - Report Writer, JIDC (Camp Slayer) – Prepared Intelligence Information Reports (IIR) for Camp Slayer’s Joint Interrogation and Debriefing Center (JIDC) responsible for the High Value Detainees at Camp Cropper. Using the Detainee Interrogator’s notes or their initial IIR, I prepared the final IIR for submission into the National Ground Intelligence Center’s Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Management System NEXT GENERATION (HMSng) Database. - Quality Assurance Coordinator - Responsible for the systemic process of exploiting the 3,000,000(+) documents captured from the previous Iraqi regime uploaded into the National Harmony Database. Designed/implemented various review protocols that identified Systemic Problems in the Document Exploitation (DOCEX) process. Verified the Quality editing of 12 Quality Control personnel, to ensure Gist and Translation conform to standards established for National Harmony. - Quality Control Editor – Reviewed the IIR's of the Document Reporting Element, Baghdad (DRE-B) Report Writers for completeness, syntax, & format prior to submission into the HMSng. - Collection Management – Assisted the DRE-B Collection Manager in identifying those Harmony files that require further exploitation and were worthy of an IIR. Developed database application tools to assist in the management of the IIR’s in-process. Tools included the Proactive Document Reporting System Management, Intelligence Functional Code Search, Collection Requirement Search, Keyword Search, and Hot Document Search. - Training Officer - Prepared and conducted job/mission specific training for the IIR Report Writers, Quality Control Editors, and Linguists. Developed and implemented an OJT Training Program for 190(+) personnel, in 23 duty positions working in 6 departments.

Provided Project and Logistics management assistance. Estimated the cost to design a relational database application, and then performed a Cost-Benefit Analysis to move the Nebraska State Patrol's Criminal Information System mainframe DB2 database to a Server Based SQL database. Designed new application in pseudo code to estimate programming time. Specializing in the Requirements Analysis, Deployment, and Execution of technical projects; deployed a Fiber Optic Fast Ethernet LAN, connecting 9 city and county offices in Rockford IL to a central Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Internet, using IEEE standards 802.1q and 802.3 (to include 802.3z). Consultative services included assessment, integration, implementation and deployment of custom Project Management tools integrating Project Management techniques with Integrated Logistic Support and Systems Management principles. Provided staff instruction on the phases of a project, traps to avoid, and the decision science needed to ensure the successful completion of a project. Focus includes TQM, ILS, UML and IDEF integration into existing operations. Provided Staff Training in Systems Analysis, Decision Making, and other staff operations. Achievement: Wrote a Visual Basic Project Management software program to assist a Project Manager determine a project's health. This inexpensive program installs on a network, allowing updates from project team members across LANs and WANs. Designed (patent pending) a Protective Blast Panel to protect personnel and equipment from high explosives and direct fire from weapons up to 50 caliber.

A member of the Analytical Services Group, Analyst/Modeler designing internal data models to estimate unpopulated fields such as Income, Age, and Primary Decision Maker. Wrote a Statistical Process Control (Visual Basic) Program used in Quality Assurance of the Experian’s National Consumer Database. Analyst on the Nations Largest Consumer Database, the National Consumer Database/InSource. Responsible for designing Visual Basic tools to interface Statistical Analyst with ODBC compliant Databases and Office Application Packages. Project Coordinator to design and field an Application server to support 30 (+) analysts, using SAS Enterprise Miner with an Oracle Database, requiring a total storage of 3 Terabytes of Disk Array. Knowledgeable in the development and implementation of relational databases. Projects: Data Management Analytical Research System (DMARS) development phase to transition from requirement identification to system specification and design. NT System Administrator for the group's LAN segment and expeditor for all job request and issues with the Help Desk. Achievements: Co-author of the Experian's Estimated Income Model. Developed summarized algorithms for over 15 models that will enable C programmers to translate SAS modeling code into the Oracle relational environment.

Number two management position in a new Ordnance Battalion, totaling over 400 reservists. Responsible to hire and train the primary staff officers in the battalion headquarters, and over see the mission operations during train up and execution of major training exercises. Conducted Organizational Analysis of poor performing subordinate units to improve unit morale and operational efficiency. Logistics Readiness Officer, responsible for maintenance accountability of all equipment and supplies in the battalion and all subordinate units. Command and control for two transportation companies and two Ammunition supply companies, with a total of over two hundred pieces of rolling stock. Ensured all subordinate units were in compliance with all applicable DOD, DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations. Award: Meritorious Service Medal.

Senior Staff Officer to the Group Commander and Group Communications Officer on computer automation issues. In charge of the Combat Service Support Automation Management Office, with 15 application package specialist, 5 help desk technicians, and 2 network engineers. Coordinated the Combat Service Support (CSS) software support requirements for the Corps Support Group and subordinate units. Coordinated Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and communication systems to interface with the Corps Support Command (COSCOM), Corps Materiel Management Center (CMMC), and the Assistant Chief of Staff for Computers and Communication (G6). Considered one of the groups Subject Matter Expert in logistics and automation. Additional duty as Group planner, primarily assisting the group with transitioning to support Active Duty units in a large scale computer war game called Corps Battle Simulation. These "Warfighter" games involved over 3,000 personnel of battalion and higher battle staffs, exercising using real world situations and the Battle plans on the books to deal with them.

Assisted the Director of Support Operations with the formulation, review, and implementation of policy, plans, and procedures relating to the Direct and General Support of Combat Service Support units within the Group. Responsible to coordinate the Support Operations Sections operations, supervising 5 branch managers. Planned the support operations required to support Group customers in the field, up to 20,000 soldiers. Including 5 Exercises at the National Training Center (FT Irwin, CA) and three exercises at the Joint Readiness Training Center (FT Polk, LA). Awards: Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal.

Chief of the Support Operations Ammunition Branch, supervising 3 commodity managers and 2 ammunition inspection specialists. Advised the Group Commander and the Support Operations Officer on ammunition related issues and activities. Provide subject matter expertise support to subordinate ammunition battalions and companies. Coordinate with the Support Operations Section Transportation Branch Chief with transportation priorities and issues related to the movement of ammunition in the CSG's area of operations. Additional duties continue as the primary planner for Training opportunities with the Active Army.

Responsible for providing internal logistic support for the Headquarters and 18 subordinate organizations, supervising 5 logistics specialist. Advised the Group Commander on the overall Logistical status and readiness requirements of the Group. Responsible to coordinate and prioritize the Organizational logistic support capabilities and requirements of all subordinate units.

Advised customers on software, hardware, and network integration in to their present operations. Test new software and verify its application to the IDEF model. Advised customers on logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, and personnel issues. Assisted customers maintain compliance with EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations. Installed Local Area Networks using Window NT in offices in a two state region. Trained customer employees on software, OSHA required classes, and the transport/handling of hazardous materials. Primary customer - Department of the Army Reserves. Achievements: Selected Senior controller during the verification of the Army's newest interface between the Corps Battle Simulation Software and the Automated Logistics Management Systems fielded to Combat Service Support Units called Combat Service Support Control System (CSSCS).

Plant Manager of the corporations largest of 15 injection molding plants, in Muscatine Iowa with 180 employees working 2 shifts, 7 days per week. Produced more than 30,000 pails and 35,000 lids daily. Gross sales greater than $24 million per year. Managed production, warehousing, shipping, printing, and maintenance operations. Responsible for quality assurance to include compliance with the FDA's Packaging and single use food container regulations and State EPA Post Consumer Plastics requirements. Interfaced with the 85 customers that the plant serviced, resolving customer issues and complaints. Achievements: Implemented the companies first Preventative Maintenance Program, 23% reduction in customer complaints, 28% increase in production rates, and 30% increase in shipping. Illegally discharged for attending annual training with my Army Reserve unit.

Managed the production operations of 13 (CNC) molding machines, 20 to 400 ton, and inventory/warehousing for over 400 lines of finished and semi finished goods. Five direct reporting managers supervising three shift operations with 80(+) personnel. Purchasing Agent for all plant raw materials and semi-finished goods. Produced Medical Devices and Packages to FDA's rigorous Good Manufacturing Practices standards. Ensured compliance to and prepared required disclosure reports IAW OSHA (CFR 29) and EPA (CFR 40, parts 370 and 372). Solicited, procured, installed, and loaded an MRPII program to manage the plants entire manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, and accounting operations. ISO 9000 Project Officer to bring the manufacturing facility into ISO 9001 compliance. Primary Instructor for all OSHA “Right-to-Know” required classes. Achievements: Promoted from Production Control Manager to Operations Manager in first 90 days of employment. Designed, contracted production, and installed a High Speed Rotary Indexing assembly machine. Wrote and instituted the companies Career Development Program, that instilled in employees a feeling of Career. Resulting in a reduction of employee turnover. The money spent on turnover training was then dedicated to employee continuing education. Awarded the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company's 1994 Outstanding Supplier Award. Established HTI as a vendor to one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, Novartis Corp. 19% increase in sales.

When an ordnance officer becomes a field grade officer, most of the positions are in Project Management. There are more Colonels in the Ordnance Corps than 2nd Lieutenants. The instructor for the Project Management portion of my Army Advance Course, was the adjunct professor.

While in active duty I started my MBA, which I had to abandon once I made Operations Manager. Instead, my new job supported taking short concentrated courses with the University's College of Continuing education.
