Gringo AI focuses on building applied AI systems for industrial maintenance and operations. After a decade working in maintenance (technician → manager → supervisor), I began developing practical AI tools to address real-world operational challenges — including poor CMMS data quality, incomplete work orders, limited performance visibility, and time-consuming reporting. Current work includes: • AI-powered maintenance intelligence dashboards • CMMS data analysis and structured insight generation • Operational performance and parts consumption analytics • Multi-tenant AI assistant integration for industrial environments • Automation workflows to improve frontline documentation quality The mission is simple: bring practical, operational AI to manufacturing environments — not hype, but systems that help teams make better decisions with the data they already have.

Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety and quality standards. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance productivity in cheese production and packaging. Oversee advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLC and HMI optimization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and addressing operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency and product quality. Manage the installation, calibration, and integration of new equipment, ensuring seamless operation within existing processes. Administer the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, optimizing stock levels and managing supplier relationships. Maintain the CMMS for effective tracking and scheduling of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management. Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align maintenance practices with production goals and quality standards. Control maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial oversight.

Supervised sanitation operations, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. Maintained and adjusted PLC programs across all equipment, optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. Implemented and supervised continuous improvements in the CIP and production processes. Assisted with the installation and startup of new cheese production and packaging equipment. Conducted advanced troubleshooting of various systems using Studio 5000 and other software. Managed controllers, including Allen Bradley PACs, HMIs, VFDs, temperature controllers, and safety controllers.

Maintained, troubleshot, and adjusted PLC programs across all equipment. Implemented continuous improvements in the manufacturing process, specifically in the production of wire shelves. Assisted with advanced troubleshooting of various systems using Studio 5000 and other software. Managed a variety of equipment and controllers, ensuring optimal operation and safety.

Interpreted and implemented schematics for various processes. Maintained, repaired, and assembled a wide range of cheese making and packaging equipment. Programmed PLCs and HMIs used in production and CIP processes throughout the plant. Performed MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques. Solved problems in mechanical, electrical, and control contexts. Installed various types of equipment and performed preventative maintenance.

Constructed and wired control panels for the Mechatronics department. Performed start-up and testing of each component to ensure proper operation.
